Description: This position is responsible for developing, coding, testing and debugging software applications for Teradata’s solutions. Duties include analyzing software requirements, developing software programs and applications, and creating detailed designs for input, process and output. Additionally, the software developer must be able to maintain existing codebase, fix errors, and optimize processes.
Qualifications / Requirements: Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science or a related field. Other requirements include knowledge of various software development tools and lifecycle processes, excellent programming and debugging experience and familiarity with writing code for various computer architectures. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming is also required.

Data Scientist

Description: This role is responsible for leveraging analytics and data to build strategies and solutions that can improve Teradata’s products and services. The position involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data with the goal of understanding trends and patterns, developing insights, and helping to drive business decisions. The data scientist is also responsible for exploring and researching new analytical technologies, and providing data-driven solutions to business problems.
Qualifications / Requirements: Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in data science, analytics, computer science or a related field. Additionally, experience with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL and data visualization software is preferred, as well as the ability to assess and leverage technology solutions for data-centric projects.

Security Engineer

Description: This role is responsible for developing, implementing and ensuring the security of Teradata’s systems and network. Duties include creating, maintaining and monitoring security protocols, such as firewalls, patching systems, and authentication protocols as well as creating and managing authentication processes and access rights. Additionally, the security engineer must be able to handle and resolve any security issues that arise.
Qualifications / Requirements: Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity or a related field. Other requirements include experience with security protocols, systems and technologies, knowledge of security best practices and experience in network and systems troubleshooting.

DevOps Engineer

Description: This role is responsible for developing and managing solutions that automate and streamline development processes. The devops engineer is expected to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the Teradata platform by automating every aspect of software development and deployment, including execution plans, configuration management, and monitoring. Additionally, the devops engineer must analyze log files for errors and correct them.
