Description: Designs, deploys, and maintains cloud-based infrastructure and services, such as those provided on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Responsible for the planning and implementation of security strategies and techniques. Helps to improve current systems and processes in order to make them cloud-ready. Works closely with the development teams to ensure proper integration of cloud services and solutions.
Qualifications / Requirements: B.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science. 5+ years in systems engineering and network administration. Experienced in automation and orchestration scripts development and configuration management (such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible). Description: Responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, optimizing, and managing database systems including MySQL and MS-SQL Server. Responsible for the overall performance, reliability, security, integrity and scalability of the database systems hosting Mitek’s data and transactional applications. Builds and maintains database replication, backup and recovery procedures. Monitors server performance and take corrective action to resolve any issues.
Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent. 5+ years of experience working in databases, including at least 3 years of experience with MS-SQL or MySQL. Experience with optimization and troubleshooting, database replication and backup and recovery, and performance monitoring. Ability to work without supervision, managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
