Software Test Automation Engineer

Description: The Software Test Automation Engineer will develop and implement robust software solutions for test automation. They will be responsible for writing detailed test scripts to check source code, automating test execution, logging and recording test results, and debugging and troubleshooting test automation projects. The Software Test Automation Engineer will be expected to stay up to date on best practices for software testing and current technologies related to test automation.

Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; 5+ years of experience engineering automation solutions; strong programming knowledge; strong written and oral communication skills; experience in databases, software development, and system integration.

I've been working at Smith Micro Software since just after I completed my coding degree, and it has been a great experience. I work in the programming department and I'm surrounded by talented and motivated professionals. We have great resources available, with an in-depth library of tutorials and reference material that's constantly being updated. Although the hours are at times long and the tasks are often complex, the job satisfaction and feeling of accomplishment that comes with seeing our customers benefit from our software is worth it.
