Description: Design and develop data ingestion and transformation tools to store, use, and analyze structured and unstructured data from a variety of sources using technologies like Hadoop, Scala, and Apache Kafka. Development of data pipelines that are both efficient and robust. Troubleshoot and debug data engineering related issues.
Qualifications / Requirements: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related technical field preferred; excellent knowledge of SQL, and Big Data technologies; experience with Hadoop and related technologies including Hive, Pig, and related components; ability to work and communicate effectively with different teams such as data, product and business teams.
