Systems Administrator

Average Work Hours (weekly unless noted): 45-50

Description: The Systems Administrator will be the primary individual responsible for all VMware servers and data centers. This person will be responsible for installing and configuring VMware hardware, creating and maintaining VM workloads, and providing administrative support to operations and employees. The Systems Administrator will also be responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of the environment and maintaining uptime via proactive maintenance and monitoring.
Qualifications / Requirements: Strong, self-directed technical background with experience in physical and virtual server administration. Hands-on experience with vSphere server virtualization including vCenter and ESX, experience with SAN administration, and experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python. Prior experience providing technical support to operations teams is highly desirable.

Data Center Engineer

Description: The Data Center Engineer will be the primary individual supporting the design, build-out, and maintenance of VmWare's data center infrastructure. This person will be responsible for design, deployment, and maintenance of virtual/physical servers, storage and networking systems as well as developing and implementing procedures and processes to ensure system reliability, scalability, and availability.
Qualifications / Requirements: Experience with VMware's vSphere and vCloud products, strong hands-on experience with designing and maintaining server hardware, experience with designing and managing storage environments, and a thorough understanding of network engineering with experience administering routers, switches, wireless, and security devices.

Cloud Support Engineer

Description: The Cloud Support Engineer will be the technical leader responsible for providing Tier 1-3 system support and maintenance for all cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc). This individual must have a strong technical understanding of cloud-based systems and be able to identify and troubleshoot common issues. They must have excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly.
Qualifications / Requirements: Strong hands-on technical background with a deep understanding of cloud infrastructures, experience with multiple cloud computing platforms and technologies, experience with cloud security practices and protocols, web design and application programming experience, and experience utilizing containerization technologies.

Front End Developer

Description: The Front End Developer will be responsible for designing and creating innovative and engaging user interfaces using the latest web technologies. This individual will develop interactive components, design custom layouts, and converts designs and wireframes into production-ready code.
Qualifications / Requirements: Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, React, Angular, Vue, and other relevant JavaScript libraries. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to take ideas from initial concept through to completion.

DevOps Engineer

Description: The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing and Implementing DevOps solutions for VmWare's suite of products. This individual will be involved in automating deployments, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining the overall infrastructure.
Qualifications / Requirements: Strong system administration background, knowledge of computer architectures, experience with configuration and automation tools such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible, experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
